Back then though there was this illusion of world domination and the rest of it. Now there’s actual evidence for players and agents that this isn’t the case and perhaps the owners aren’t quite as interested as they made out.
We sold players like Bruno and Isak the dream, but that’s long gone now.

The problem, once again, isn’t the losing out on players to Aston Villa or anyone else, that kind of stuff always happens in cycles.
The problem is that we’re allowing the club to be used repeatedly by agents and aggregators to drive stories and create demand.

Gabriel is normally great but he just got it wrong last night, really misread the room talking about mentality, and then basically said “Tuchel said you were shit” to Bellingham.
He’s a great interviewer but had a howler last night, it doesn’t need the journalistic circle jerk to come out and defend him.

Yeah, absolutely. Tuchel was bang on.
Gabriel just threw “mentality” out there trying to almost explore reasons for the performance but I’m sure he’d admit himself that was stupid for a team who just had the Mexico game and then last night which were both all pure mentality.
Then you get the classic journalist iron dome rallying to his defence, which just makes fans hate journos and the media more.
