Chennai lost the plot post 2006. Lost out on start up and product cos boom to Bglore. Then came KTR who for his part took more cos to Hyd. The city needs someone like SM Krishna or KTR to reverse the fortune. As simple as that.

@subashr232 NCR wether is same as rest of North India but not everyone can withstand humidity even ppl from Interior TN can.But still there is a structural problem with Tamils which is anti-cosmopolitan in nature.

@spraneshram Weather and all not an issue. NCR has worst weather. Yet it thrives. Kodai, Yercaud, Yelagiri, Mahabs - so many weekend gateways available. Hyderabad has no gateways, yet it prospers.
