🚨 RETWEET FOR AWARENESS 🚨 Last February, an individual who happened to be a big account in this platform was discovered to have been involved in an investment scam wherein they introduced themselves to be working for a European client. The investors eventually followed up after recurring delays in payments. The individual then started to create these masks of excuses that included being a victim of fraud by a “former friend” as well as major medical emergencies, all to avoid accountability. The victims include close friends and mutuals from different fandoms. The deceit was all rooted and built from trust. This individual used to be a big account in the CARAT and MYDAY community, but also are in the NCTZEN and ARMY fandoms. This individual is known to share their travels, concerts and fansigns publicly, aiming to “inspire” and build their social media relevance. A case had since been filed but there have not been any new updates as the individual was said to have been refusing to receive the demand letters. Although this individual seems to have been trying to revive their social media presence. New social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook) believed to be owned by this individual have been resurfacing, all the while having their victims blocked which is an obvious move to evade accountability. I will be linking relevant threads under this tweet for more information. We humbly ask that you share and retweet them to make sure that this issue does not die down until this individual is jailed, as well as to ensure no new victims fall for their trap. my struggle when coming home late. very few jeepney passing by. if any, they are most likely to cut their trip short. i'll be asked to alight earlier than intended, and transfer to another jeepney. this usually happens to me at night before the war took place. but then after the oil price hike, i've also experienced it on daytime. the lack of jeepney on the road was palpable. fewer signage of my usual drop off, more on stops closer to home. one time, while riding home, two drivers made a stop to have a short conversation. it was about another driver they knew who died because he being denied of financial assistance. yesterday, my mother had a conversation with a driver. lately, he could only take home ₱500 to his family. his other colleagues changed their line of of job to construction worker, because they couldn't feed their family with what they were earning. in the near future, our country will face another problem. a new issue will surface. and only in this what seemed to be our normal daily commute can these forgotten unresolved struggles be heard, felt, and seen.
