In my view. The vote to stop high school winter sports will make the COVID situation worse as thousands of young athletes will now flood to club tournaments with little protections. A solution may have made the problem worse. Again, just my own personal view.

@CoachCole42 @ralphamsden @sultanbaseball5 Some are overreacting, yes. But everything going on in the sports world and other states closing schools is all precautionary. Wouldn't it be better to get out ahead of it rather than try to play catch up? We still don't know if they will get to the point of closing schools here.

According to a release, the AIA has reached out to member schools in regards to Coronavirus concerns. Should any sporting events be postponed or canceled, it would be up to member schools and districts. As of right now, seasons will continue without delays. (1/2)
