Nine years ago I planted 14 trees (4 species) as a privacy fence. People laughed saying it’ll take forever to grow. Two years ago I planted two apple trees in my yard. People laughed saying it’ll take forever to grow apples. Last year I spent 12 weeks rooting a fig cutting and my friend called it silly. Our privacy fence is now 16’ tall and i can swim in my pool naked if I want. We got a handful of apples this year-it’s a start. The fig cutting is now 30” tall and wide w 8 figs on it. I suspect we’ll have jam next year. I bought a dwarf lemon tree this summer. It won’t bear fruit until late winter. But it will make me happy. I think I’ll plant another apple tree this Fall. It might take 5 years to bear fruit but I’ll be 5 years older either way. And, with apples.

for bts not to submit one of their biggest albums to the grammys this year is huge and i respect them for that. so much was poured into arirang and its message and i feel like it wouldn’t sit right with bts at all especially with the new category the grammys put out
