Many thanks to Rabbi Polansky, for visiting us today. She showed that Jewish people come from all walks of life and ethnicities, explained some Jewish celebrations and religious artifacts, and spoke from the heart about the painful impact that Antisemitism has on Jewish people.
It has been another beautiful, fun filled Friday, here in the Valley. Many thanks to Ms. Budgell for organizing this year’s Earth Day themed fashion show and to all the participants who created such fashionable items out of recyclables. What talented group of students we have!

Culturally Relevant and Responsive Pedagogy (teaching) in action at Spring Valley as this grade 7 class engages with the Unlearn Antisemitism resource, part of a school-wide endeavour to empower all our students to identify prejudice and stand up against hate.
Congratulations to one of our most promising artists on her 2nd place, Black and White poster, finish in the Provincial level Legion’s Remembrance Day Art competition. Always something good growing in the Valley.
