@patchfacecutter all of this is so relatable. I've also thought about how I've sunk into a state of only having my own misery and secrecy as a kind of validation, and I don't if I will ever move on from there

riches, love, happiness; itd all be useless in my mind if i was recovered. i have been to deep in this addiction for to long. i lost everything when i started cutting, for so long it itself was all i had, to trade cutting for anything would only be an repeat of that event.

ive done irreversible damage to my body. when i look in the mirror i feel either intense shame for ruining myself with scars or euphoria that my pain is visible. i can never go back to who i was prior to starting self harm: i can never be that little kid who saw the good in life.
