While I agree there is no place for racism, let’s not suggest the player shouldn’t be able to carry on cause someone shouted some words at him. This kind of chat is cultivating hypersensitivity. Ultimately, it’s just noise and should be treated as such. Teaching this level of victimhood not only makes people less capable of dealing with these types of comments, but it only gives the intended insult more gravitas. No-one should be racially abused - but this kind of culture is only going to perpetuate it.
