I haven’t posted my last 2 scores because I was afraid. Why did I feel that way? I never expected this account to get any followers let alone this many. This is wild to me. I thought if I posted bad scores I’d be judged. Fuck it though, let’s get into it. Social media is weird. I started this account to log my golf practice and rounds. I thought if I posted bad scores I’d look like a fraud. But that’s stupid. I’m not a social media influencer. I’m a hack trying to get better, while tweeting my thoughts along the way. If I don’t post the things that make me look bad (which I am), then I am actually a fraud. So what’d I shoot? 100 and 103, same course, different days, different stories. 100: I couldn’t get off the tee box to save my life. Way too many penalties, not enough balls in play or fairways. Duffed more shots than I’d like to remember. 103: Score was worse but I felt like I played better. Ball striking wasn’t the issue, I thought this was one of my better ball striking days. Alignment, chipping, and putting were abysmal. What’s the silver lining? I felt more confident over the ball the second round. I was striking it well for my standards. Put myself in terrible positions and wasn’t able to get myself out of them with my wedges. But I didn’t get discouraged and had confidence over the ball that I’d hit it better than I have been. On to the next round.

How do you pick an app idea before actually building it? - A pain you personally feel? - Market demand? - Competitor gaps? - Or people already asking for it? Trying to understand what “validation” really looks like before writing code.

Got the privilege to play Sahalee. Known as one of the tightest golf courses in the world. Here’s a tee shot on hole 10 while filming our Major Cut. It feels like every tee shot you have to be on it. Was a great challenge but exhausting at the same time. Excited for y’all to see this tomorrow!

Takeaways from my first round of golf: Shot 114 overall, didn’t have to drop the ball for most holes, was told I was playing well 90 deg today, tried a transfusion for the first time Thx for a lot of tips, kept a level head and tried to have fun. I’d say #success
