@jakob9968 We've played better sides than coventry , coventry have struggled in all of their games this season , they look like a side that's going to finish mid-table or lower

@spursline With these performances yes, however we’ve had a game like this every season and we pretty much lost every time in cup games like this over the last few years…

@Ka_ja_Lions @AltuKop He's had more than 10 months to be fair , i highly doubt he knows how to adapt , i think that's the only approach he knows

@spursline @AltuKop The current run of form is disquieting but surely he needs a run of games to come out of the “crisis”. Then will be a better time to judge. We will not win league this year anyway so give him time to show how he/they react.

I'm as Anti-levy as it gets but i don't subscribe to the narrative that he didn't back Ange , 350m over a 12 months period is huge , Pochettino and Redknapp would've killed to have 350m to spend over 12 months , Ange has got to be held accountable , he should be doing far better

@TottenhamAwayTV I know the buck stop with Levy because he hired Ange and Lange , but still Ange is not doing his job properly and should be held accountable , Poch and Redknapp did better with far less financial backing

@TottenhamAwayTV That's where i disagree , this time we can't turn around and say Levy didn't back the manager with funds , Pochettino would've killed to have 50% of the financial backing Ange has so far benifited from , Ange is not getting the best out of what he's got

@JuniorRodigan @TottenhamAwayTV @atoon83 Seeing how inept Ange is made realise that Poch was better than many of us thought he was , he had a 0 net spend between june 2014 and june 2019 yet he had us going toe to toe with bigger clubs who were spending loads of money whilst we were operating on a 0 net spend policy

@spurscc In the grand scheme of things maybe , but it doesn't mean we have to keep a manager who's underperforming or find excuses for him , levy doesn't provide you with the platform to win but he does provide you with a platform good enough to finish top 4

@spursline I don’t think it means these are ange’s first choice players, no. I’m sure of the list of players levy was willing to sign then maybe ange thought these were the best. Agree ange should be doing better but no manager will ever be the biggest problem while we have ENIC

@spurscc One of those teenages cost 40m , do you really believe Levy would willingly spend 40m on an 18yo from the championship ? Solange for 65m was a great sign of backing , he was fairly backed in my opinion , he should be doing better

@spursline Do you really think if levy went to ange st the start of the summar and said “ange we have 120m to spend” he is going to say “awesome, get me solanke, 3 teenagers and that werner fella back on loan”?

@spursline The problem has always been the wages!!!! The transfer fee is somewhat irrelevant if you’re not paying top wages

@frasinho8814 @AltuKop Not true the gap isn't big between us and Arsenal in term of wages , Ange has been backed more than any spurs manager under enic and our net spend is in line with other top clubs , wages still not as big as the top 3 teams but Arsenal finished 2nd with a lower wage bill than ours

@Ka_ja_Lions @AltuKop Not sure it's better but what I do know is a better manager will get more of a tune out of this squad , under Poch we were going toe to toe with teams who had better players

@spursline @AltuKop I think top 4 is always possible but do you think our squad is better than, say, Newcastle’s? Or even Villa’s. West Ham have some serious footballers (I don’t think they make top 4 but).

@COYSJordan94 @AltuKop I do think he was backed , maybe not to the extent he wanted but with the money he was allowed to spend , he should be doing better

@AltuKop @spursline I ain’t even saying he should publicly say he hasn’t been backed but just stay quiet then. Ange talks a lot and that’s his biggest problem imo. The minute Ange came out and said he was backed that was music to Levy’s ears.

@FieldyJay @AltuKop With Eze it was more to do with his release clause (money needed to be paid up front ) , jury remains out on Gray/Odoboert but west ham and chelsea did manage to get Palmer / kudus for less than we paid for johnson and i doubt they were on higher wages, so again it's the Scouting
