Disappointed. I downloaded a sample pack from Crema. Description stated it works with all samplers. And now every single sample says (Unsupported File) cc @spvidz
For today's upload I've shared 6 things that I am already loving about the Roland P6! If you want to find out more about this device this will definitely be worth a watch! youtu.be/4SQGlzWSUxs
Busy couple of weeks coming up! I may switch things up a little with the content and drop more shorts to make things more manageable. Got at least one long-form video coming this week though 👍
@docthecreative1 It’s pretty cool. Kinda like a 202 on steroids. Some bits are a bit fiddly and there are quite a few button combos that need to be used regularly. I’ve picked up the workflow quickly though
I posted a P6 beat today but If you want to go back in time a little and see how I got on trying to figure it out without the manual, check out my latest video that's just gone live! youtu.be/1GA8Q0D58BU
@Sculp_Arts_ Not easy to answer. Depends on a lot of things like your workflow, what you want to achieve, money etc. Maybe peep the manual or some YT videos to see if it will work for you
now that I've recorded my first time at the P6 video, I've been able to start using it! Already getting some nice sauce out of it. I can tell its going to be a blast
The LOFI button is awesome and I wish we would have got that on the MK2. You can change the amount of destruction it does to the sample as well. The compressor in the MFX area is also nice. Really beefs stuff up
Overall it feels like the 202 with modern updates like USB and the step sequencer which is super dope! Some of the functions are a bit fiddly to get around. Recording is like the 202 where you seem to have to select the options like sample grade etc every time.
If you want to level up in MK2 pattern mode, check out my latest video where I do a round-up of some powerful features and tips! youtu.be/6_YP7NSf5Nk#sp404mk2
