The federal government of Nigeria is scared that the way Maths Olympiad is gaining momentum in the Southeast, it will be a problem in the future and the standard will be too high for others to attain. They quickly removed Mathematics as a prerequisite for gaining admission into the universities. What a shame!

I can't in good conscience knock Obi for being pro-farmers. Tinubu nearly killed us in 23-24 before common sense prevailed.

This is Cubana Wonderland. The money for this was made in Onitsha by Pillars, invested in Asaba. What happened to reinvesting in Onitsha? Onitsha dị mma Filling Stations in odd places, but Asaba dị mma wonderland. Take away Onitsha, Asaba will just be that dilapidated Expressway. Make Anioma State do and come so we know na SE state Onitsha is developing.

About 20,000 or more houses may need to be demolished before the water crisis can be fully resolved. If you were in the governor’s position, what would you do? Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
Basil@basilabia

He still hasn’t fixed Enugu’s legendary water crisis. Governance in Nigeria is really a class issue. Upper middle class Nigerians and wealthy Nigerians who seek public office, don’t seek public office to solve the problems bedeviling lower middle class and poor Nigerians.

@OgbajiIfeanyi I’ve only been to onitsha once and honestly if I was a big man there, I would relocate to asaba. This ancestral land mindset and greed in land allocation has to go for any meaningful development to take place.

@NigeriaStories Off the top of my head this is a lie. Then if you choose to do a deeper research you’ll still discover it’s not true. 700 million is about 1 trillion. World bank is not spending that much in a single state.

Breaking news: 🗞️ Ibo are demanding for 3 House of Reps slots in LAGOS-YORUBA land 😁. Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, Osodi-Isolo constituencies. News reports indicate that Igbo settlers in LAGOS-YORUBA land are seeking representation in the House of Representatives, with a focus on the Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, and Oshodi-Isolo constituencies. This their bad behavior is viewed as part of a broader effort by the nyamiris-ibo community to expand their political influence in Yoruba land. Because they demonstrated the same thing during last general election in 2023 by their support for Chinedu Gbarebor's candidacy under the Labour Party in the Lagos State gubernatorial election against Babajide Sanwo-Olu. If this trend persists, if we don't caution these u$eless people, it may lead to further demands, including the governorship of Lagos State due to their increasing political assertiveness in Yoruba political affairs.
