Sqim x Coca — better together

Trying the new Cursor iOS app with Sqim on my demo Xcode project. Cursor running tests, then sharing screenshots and recordings is cool, but it’s even more helpful if it can send you a direct install link so you can test right away. And that’s what Sqim does!

In just one week, we crossed 100 users, who have collectively uploaded hundreds of builds using Sqim! 🥳 We don’t even have proper metrics collection to accurately figure out DAUs, but our server is blowing up with tens of thousands of requests already!!

It’s so great to see how Sqim is integrating into people’s workflows so well already! Here’s one… (Thanks for all the amazing feedback, please keep them coming! I’ve more plans to take this even further, will share more soon! :)

Wow didn't expect all the love and amazing feedback for Sqim! Thank you!! Just wanted to talk a bit more about how it works and address a few FAQs: 1) Builds are signed using your own dev certificates and bundled with your own dev provisioning profiles. So only iPhones registered with your Apple dev ID can install the build. That’s an iOS level restriction. 2) Whenever a build is uploaded through Sqim (with or without code changes), a new temporary install web page is created which expires in 30 min. 3) For convenience, you can still access your builds and install later from Sqim's web portal. In the future, we may have to also expire these if storage capacity becomes an issue. 4) What gets uploaded are .ipa files which means we can't see your source code (so dw, your data cannot be sold or seen because we don’t have it :)
