@AMdotWAV @Hoopss Yeah it’s pretty bad. Several updates ago, Apple said it was an issue of the face recognition-quieting feature that people are referring to, and fixed it. But it’s still happening. And now ppl are reporting that it happens even when they have their phone further away. Not good.

Growing up around Atari, C64, and Apple II, you learned pretty quickly you handled those 5.25s with care or you didn’t get to play Number Munchers. 3.5 inch disks in high school? Straight into the backpack.

@wyoung8921 @one_red_hawk @jiratickets 3.5” are also floppy disks. “Floppy” refers to the thin magnetic plastic-like disk inside where the data is stored, which is more easily visible in a 5.25”, while on a 3.5” you have to slide the metal cover aside to see it. Nothing to do with the rigidity of the outer shells.
