@Clearpreso I normally hate panel discussions but I was at one held by @squaredoteu last month and it totally changed my mind. The conversation flowed but wasn't full of in jokes. There were tonnes of tips and panellists added onto one another's responses. Really enjoyable.

I'd go so far as to say panel discussions at events are *universally* poor because of the nature of the format. Even with a skilled moderator the panel format facilitates pretty much exclusively shallow ad-hoc information, which is way less valuable than a well thought out talk

@Clearpreso Panel discussions at events are generally poor. I used to love a 20 min talk by an expert but it seems thats not too popular anymore
