We’ve been evacuated since Friday. We had booked a trip to Toronto to visit my folks in Ontario. Our flight was cancelled so we drove to Calgary through a very smoky Lake Country and passed our home (which is still standing) to catch a flight. It’s nice to see blue sky again.

Leaving such language unchecked perpetuates the cycle of hatred and reinforces the idea that such hateful language is acceptable on this platform. Remember: it did not start with gas chambers but hateful ideology that was expressed with words.
