@victryena As someone who never played VGC (kept up with the meta and such as I love pokemon and play tcg) this game is almost exactly what I want from a game in terms of bones. It is very accessible for new players. My hope is with phone release they fix a lot of the bugs/issues

to put things into perspective, the largest GC had 15K players. 710K for the first official in-game online competition and over 10K for the first grassroots event is insane. champions is going to do for vgc what the documentary & slippi did for melee, but even more so.

hearing this from joe serebii himself is probably the most scathing comment possible. alongside wolfey's only post about the game is him getting soft locked, it's a pretty bad look. ILCA dictating the future of VGC is worrying, but rooting for champion's success is all we can do.
