Imagine spending any time in/around Houston and completely missing how multicultural it is. How multicultural it’s been for a very, VERY long time. No, my family hasn’t always been in Houston, they came from other parts of Texas. Diversity makes Houston stronger.

Counting people based on race aside, which is fucking weird, Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country. That diversity has brought us business, a booming culinary culture, made us a destination for industry. It’s always been our strength and it isn’t anything new.

Took my daughter to Memorial City Mall, (77024 research that), because I wont let her go alone. I was shocked. I counted the people that looked like me. After 100 people, there were only 10.
