@squigmommy the only unit in the entire trilogy that needs darting blow & actually spends any time in a peg is subaki its basically his personal skill lol. its theoretically beneficial to xander w/ hinoka marriage but that would require putting xander in a mid class hes awful in.

oh so saying the -4def/res skill is situationally good is larp but the the skill that literally is only worth a damn on a singular unsalvageably bad unit (darting blow) is enlightened.

I feel like you haven't tried training shanna in the way Im describing if you don't see the value in being able to use killing edge and silver swords over iron, especially with her low con

@DMoney776_ @vvvvioll @morisamui2518 so basically my point is early game your secondary cav is outclassed by zealot, and then mid game when their combat starts to excel you already have percival, who will always outclass their combat especially in hard mode

@DMoney776_ @vvvvioll @morisamui2518 the issue isnt that they cant outclass zealots combat, its that they cant outclass his utility by the point they're competing for deployment slots. by the time your secondary cav is promoting (ch15) you also just recruited Percival (ch13/15), the best combat cav in the game

@DMoney776_ @vvvvioll @morisamui2518 all while being able to feed the kill exp to someone unreliable that needs it more, like if you're using an early game axe bro. theres also not enough knight crests to make training your secondary cav worthwhile when you get zealot for free

@DMoney776_ @vvvvioll @morisamui2518 unsure if we're talking hard mode or not, but I dont think I agree with this take either way tbh. shanna will almost never one round the pirates with an iron sword, and the fact she'll take 4 hits minimum to kill means she will build her sword rank against them incredibly fast
