Ratna Chaturvedi from Emery Lab @UMassChan & her collaborators at OHSU Vollum Institute recently published their findings in Current Biology showing that the astrocytic GABA transporter GAT controls sleep by regulating GABA tone on wake-promoting circadian neurons in Drosophila.
