xAI has launched Grok 4.3, achieving 53 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index with improved agentic performance, ~40% lower input price, and ~60% lower output price than Grok 4.20 The release of Grok 4.3 places @xAI just above Muse Spark and Claude Sonnet 4.6 on the Intelligence Index, and a 4 points ahead of the latest version of Grok 4.20. SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI.
The combination of Cursor’s leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX’s million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world’s most useful models.
Cursor has also given SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for our work together.

Died peacefully in its sleep after customers discovered they could build the same product in a weekend with Elon's Grok and a credit card.
Final words: "But we have 47 integrations and a compliance certification."
The funeral was sparsely attended. Most mourners were building their own custom solutions in the parking lot.
Survived by: systems of record who actually own the data and foundation model providers that power everything instead of solving one narrow problem.

I’m proud to be joining SpaceX and xAI with @milichab
It has become clear that software is changing fundamentally. More and more, people can shape the tools they use directly, and the ceiling of what can be built keeps rising.
What makes xAI special is the scale of its ambition: to build from first principles all the way out to the stars.
I’m especially grateful to work on products that expand human agency and freedom. That mission is deeply personal to me. My family came to the United States fleeing communism, and the belief that freedom should be part of the next generation of the internet has driven me every day since Andrew and I started Skiff. Now, we get to work on intelligence, understanding, and freedom on a universal scale.

SpaceX just caught a 230-foot rocket booster with mechanical arms while it fell from space. Tesla is shipping cars that drive themselves better than most humans. Neuralink is letting paralyzed people control computers with their minds. xAI built Grok in months when everyone else took years. One person is pushing all of this forward at the same time. That level of parallel execution is unprecedented in industrial history.

Friday was my last day at @xAI.
It truly was a wild ride—pushing the frontier on Grok 3, Grok 4, Grok 4.1 Fast and Macrohard. Grateful to have been on this rocketship, working with the most intense, brilliant people I’ve ever met.
