Place Bridge Academy is Denver’s most culturally and linguistically diverse school. We love PBA and had an amazing time helping at their back to school night! It is a night we will never forget.

Friends! We are so grateful for all of our friends that come to our building every week. Getting to sit and enjoy snacks and play games with these friends is always a highlight of our week!

Every Tuesday during our Open House, we have ESL classes for all of our friends! This has become such a sweet way for not only us to grow our friendship with people, but to witness friendships development between all of them.

English Chat Clubs at Common Place are created to provide a bridge for our refugee friends and our volunteers. With one-on-one meetings in person, it allows our friends to not only practice their English, but to also form friendships, which is their overall greatest need.

The pinnacle of the whole creation story is mankind are the ones to tame the wild but good world God created. But the God Story is one of humanity being bad managers. Today, in the already but not yet, we are to be sign posts to the Garden City.

Poverty isn’t material have’s or have not’s. It’s an effect, a result, it happens to someone, you can experience it. Poverty is a multidimensional reality: spiritual, economic, emotional, and social.

Restoration isn’t taking something bad and making it better. Instead, restoration is God bringing us back to the original goodness that he has in mind when he created it.

Refugees in Colorado Since 1970, Colorado has welcomed over 63,000 refugees spanning the globe. We feel uniquely called to help one of the most vulnerable communities in our city as they restore their new lives in Denver.

We are Common Place. Since 2020, we have been working alongside Denver’s refugee community to get them access to resources they need most. We are a program serving refugees, immigrants, and foreign-born friends in Denver.

With school starting back at Place Bridge Academy, we were able to put on a Back to School Bash! This night was filled with good food, games, bouncy houses and over 450 students & their families. We are so thankful for this school and The Oaks for making this happen!
