The US asked France for help to open the strait and France said "no". The UAE asked for a resolution to open the strait with force and France said "no". Iran must be regretting why they didn't heed Trump's advice earlier. US-Israeli Forces just destroyed this B1 bridge in Karaj and the bridge is reportedly the highest bridge in Iran. It is reportedly used by the IRGC to transport missiles to Western Iran for launching against Israel and US assets. At this point, closing the Strait of Hormuz is now detrimental to Iran.

A military operation to reopen it would take an infinite amount of time and expose forces to immense coastal and ballistic risks.
