We are shipping 4 drawing modes for letter practice in @ClassDojo Sparks.  Why? Because handwriting is crucial for reading development. It activates motor memory that helps kids internalize letter shapes.  Here's how we're making it progressively challenging:

This hands-on approach not only aids in understanding but also adds an element of fun, transforming the learning process into an enjoyable experience.

One of the important skills for budding learners is to master the art of drawing letters. Introducing: Drawing Activity. Before kids can read a letter, they need to feel its contours and curves.

Phoneme awareness is celebrated as one of the strongest predictors of early reading success, unlocking the gateway to a world of words and stories.

This interactive challenge fosters phoneme awareness, the crucial skill of recognizing individual sounds in spoken words. It not only engages young minds but also lays the foundation for future literacy.

Another foundational activity we developed: Find the Sound We say: “am.” On screen: three glowing starfish, each shimmering with possibility. Kids must embark on a quest to discover the starfish containing the elusive “a” sound.
