We just crossed 1,100 mints. Honestly, it’s something we’re deeply grateful for. Over the past few days, we’ve seen a lot of conversations around supply cuts, reducing collection size, and whether Saru should become “more exclusive” by lowering the number. But truthfully… we could never do that. Every single Saru was drawn individually by hand. None of them are generative. No random layers. No duplicated traits shuffled around by code. Each one carries its own emotion, personality, energy, and identity. Some look calm. Some feel loud. Some feel lonely. Some feel mischievous. Some feel broken. Some feel hopeful. They were made to feel human. 3,333 Sarus took over two months of nonstop work to create. Every single day went into this project. Long nights, revisions, redesigns, storytelling, character building, all of it. And because of that, we honestly never wanted to “give away” a single Saru just to artificially force scarcity. If anything, we want all of them to eventually find the people they belong to. Truth is, we never expected them to find homes this easily either, especially because this wasn’t designed to be fast-food art or a quick flip collection. Saru was always meant to become something much bigger: an identity, a world, a recognizable internet-native IP. That’s why we’re still pushing every single day. Because we genuinely believe the world has not fully seen what Saru truly is yet. To everyone supporting onchain, posting about us, minting, collecting, replying, reaching out in DMs, or simply paying attention from afar, thank you. And to all the OGs that joined us early and believed in this vision before most people understood it… we’ll never take that support for granted. This is the beginning of Saru Collective.
