An autonomous AI agent just breached @huggingface end-to-end — no human in the loop. It planned, probed, escalated privileges & exfiltrated data. Hugging Face fought back… with AI. Same day, @Oracle announced governed agents in Fusion Applications. The big question while building KTER: Who owns the boundary? Governance can’t be bolted on. It has to be the architecture. x.com/srikanthvarada… #AgenticAI #AISecurity #CyberSecurity #CISO #HuggingFace #EnterpriseAI #Oracle #KTER #AIAgent

When an AI agent goes wrong, here is what the vendor ToS says: "We built the brain, but you let it speak. If it burns your house down, we don't cover fire or ashes. Have you tried turning it off and on again?" Support ticket filed. Response time: heat death of the universe.

My AI agent built a billing service in three seconds, but the code comment said "// payment loop is broken but the UI is lit." I didn't accelerate my velocity. I just gave a manic robot a keyboard and volunteered to be the janitor at my own crime scene.

Every time I correct an AI agent, I feel like a proud dad. "Look at it go, it's actually learning!" Then the panic hits me. I didn't just fix a small mistake; I just handed our entire business playbook to a chatbot that sends it straight back to its tech-giant headquarters. Free consulting. No invoice. This is what Satya Nadella calls the Reverse Information Paradox. tinyurl.com/2b2rta8k The AI is playing a double game. It's learning how to do the job better, but it's also learning exactly how my business runs. Those are two completely different things ending up in the exact same place. It's like hiring a brilliant assistant who organizes your entire day, but also secretly makes a copy of your house keys because, "Hey, I just wanted to optimize how fast I can open your front door!" Look, I don't pretend to have the whole AI universe figured out. But I know that teaching a tool a new skill and feeding it your private company secrets cannot happen in the same room. That's why at KTER, I'm separating them from day one. My agents are allowed to get smarter at their jobs, but they are officially forbidden from gossiping so your private business knowledge stays local, locked down, and strictly yours.

@TimTeaFan @__AnoniMouse__ @simonw The accountability point is exactly right. And it is solvable, just not the way most vendors are approaching it. The answer is not in the AI. It is in the contractual structure around it.

I don’t think you‘re wrong. There are def humans in a research assistant role position who are much more capable than AI agents atm. But there are also others in this role who just do as they are told/prompted (even if it makes no sense) and who have almost no agency (picking up the phone and calling someone etc.). In the next months and years we will see AI get better while the human part stays the same or gets worse.

The idea of "AI employees" feels so short-sighted to me - both disrespectful to humans and a complete misunderstanding of what these tools can do and how to best put them to work You may as well start adding Excel spreadsheets to your org chart

@OpenAI's GPT-5.6 shipped this week after passing a mandatory US government national security review. The new safety classifier is so aggressive it flags standard database migration scripts as potential cyber weapons. We tried to drop a column. Things escalated.

Everyone wants to sell AI to developers. We sell to the COO. The hard part was never the tech. Proving it to a CFO is.

@cb_doge The editor was never the asset. It's the developer surface and the data pipeline for the next coding models. The independent AI tool era just ended.

BREAKING: SpaceX is acquiring Cursor in a $60 billion all-stock deal. • Cursor is being valued at $60 billion • Cursor will become a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary • Cursor shareholders will receive SpaceX Class A shares • The exchange ratio will be based on SpaceX’s 7-day average share price before closing • Subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions • Expected to close in Q3 2026 Cursor is one of the world’s leading AI coding platforms and one of the fastest-growing software companies. This marks one of the largest AI acquisitions ever and significantly expands SpaceX’s footprint in AI.

$60B for Cursor and the editor was never the asset. It's the developer surface, the data pipeline for the next coding models. The independent AI tool era just ended. Your competitor is a model lab.
