I have always been fascinated by what makes us alive compared to any non-living things. All living species have a tendency to create a special connection with another living one. What makes this connection happen is something I am always fascinated by. This special connection is often built when an emotion is invoked in both species. I remember my hostel, we used to have a lot of cats. They would come to me and suddenly they had my attention. I loved all of them. Them trying to hang around me for gentle caressing and then going about their life.

@_diginova Shouldn't you be using battery protection unit like TP4056 with DW01A? How insulation is preventing from further swelling?

Mildly frustrated at my own frustration. I knew I had to re-solder everything but I should have done this. But even if I have to do it a million times I would still do it again and again.

I always mess up when I have to talk "about myself." I had this one call in the afternoon where I became a bumbling bee when introducing myself. That was a signal that I should practice. But who wants to learn? Only idiots learn from their mistakes. I had another call right now. A great one. But again I messed up my introduction.

It's just sad day today. The whole last two week has been very heavy and tiring. I need to take good rest but brain feels very active. Idk how you even describe this, when I am low on energy and need rest brain seems very active and planning by default like getting hyped ffs

Idk how big of a deal it would feel in the future but this certain feels like a big deal. Seeing the pattern in the randomness. Reminder to self: it was hard to think a single sensing point would show such pattern but eventually it worked. A single capacitance time series one wire, one number changing over time, and it knows the difference between aggression, a caress, and a tap. The information was always there in the shape of the signal. You just have to ask the right questions.

Two things, 1. Samatvam is not finding balance, it's more like acknowledging it by knowing both parts are important and it is you. 2. I don't think zen philosophy talks about minimizing anything. Balance can always be between two extreme weights as well if you want to think that way. You cannot possibly feel happiness if you have not felt sadness. For some reason I have often felt everything talks about the same thing in different words, it just gets lost in translation because of cultural context.

समत्वम् - didn't realize it's a sanskrit word at first. समानता Equanimity doesn't seem to align with the rest of what are saying. It's very zen like philosophy. Not getting affected by the bad or good. Finding a balance. Although I am in for all things that understands that you have to feel the extremes of highs & lows. Like a river, it flows.

I like the idea of being detached from the outcome or anything, it is often misunderstood as being numb towards things. The idea is not to be numb but Samatvam (समत्वम्) english word closest to this is "Equanimity". The best way I can articulate is like a glass pipe doesn't get colored by whatever passes through it, it should be same when life flows through you. Knowing that everything you feel good days, bad days, all are just part of your experience. Without experiencing the one you won't be able to feel the other. What is the problem in feeling sad at times when things are going the wrong way? This exact sadness will make you feel happy and appreciate the situation when things are going the right way. Just do it irrespective of these, just be aware that it is all part of you.
Akanksha Pandey@yoursocialwiz

I have become obsessed with the idea of detach and do it. And this tweet solidified it for me: "Life gets exponentially better as soon as you stop giving a fuck. Not in a cold, heartless or not giving a fuck way. But in the way that you remain so unattached to the outcome that nothing can shake you. You are going to be good no matter what happens. This applies to every aspect of your life. Love career relationships money health. You give it your best shot. You try your damn hardest. You leave everything on the table. But you stay unattached. Whatever happens, happens. You flow through life and life flows through you."
