@thecricketgully Promotion Relegation system doesn't work with franchise model. There's a difference between a club and a franchise.

𝐈𝐏𝐋 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧❓🤩🏏 Imagine a system where bottom teams get relegated and new teams earn promotion to the IPL. More competition, more opportunities, and more states with their own teams!🏟️✨ Would you like to see this concept in the future? 🤔🔥

@ShayneTheUndead @akhileshsharma1 @cbseindia29 21 is just basic geometry, pretty easy for a 2-mark question. And 37? Seriously? It's a basic quadratic equation that doesn't even need to be solved, just substitution of different x values. Literally took me 20 seconds for each, even after 13 years since my 10th.

Dear @cbseindia29, Today’s Class X Mathematics (Standard) question paper was extremely tough and quite lengthy. I saw many students coming out of the examination centres in tears. Was this level of difficulty intentional so that more students would need to appear for the second board examination?

@kdcloudy They updated the color grading silently. NOW its seems to be a lot better. Even the bitrate on AV1 was atrocious but now it's really good.

I have no complaints with the Netflix version. Getting 18-20Mbps HEVC on Apple TV 4K and 12Mbps AV1 on Lumio Vision 9 native app I am pissed that such a big movie didn’t get an HDR or Dolby Vision. They allow for higher bitrates all across the board and a punchier, poppy look.

Hot take: Comparing colour grade of a movie based on your MEMORY of your theatre visit to something you can pause and scrutinise is impossible work. And misrepresenting YT trailer as “original” vs torrented copy of the movie is DIABOLICAL. (As if Netflix allows screenshots)

@iewangoalskiiii Put it in film maker mode and then you'll understand. Standard mode is not color accurate. Film maker mode exactly depicts how the director intended it to look.

@vivoplt Anyone asking "Redis vs MongoDB" should stay as far away from system design as possible.

A lot of people ask: “Should I use Redis or MongoDB?” And honestly, that question usually comes from a good place. You’re building something. You want it to be fast. You don’t want to make a bad architectural decision early. But the truth is….Redis and MongoDB aren’t competitors. They exist for completely different reasons. MongoDB is where your data lives. Redis is where your data moves fast. That difference sounds small until you actually build something real. When you use MongoDB, you’re thinking long-term. You care about structure, consistency, and reliability. You expect the data to still exist tomorrow, next month, or next year. It’s your source of truth, the place you trust. Redis doesn’t think like that. Redis lives in memory. It’s designed for speed, not permanence. Data can expire. Data can disappear. And that’s not a flaw, that’s the whole point. Redis exists to make your app feel instant. Think about how real apps behave. You open an app and it loads immediately. You scroll and things don’t stutter. You refresh and data appears instantly. That experience usually isn’t coming directly from the main database. Behind the scenes, Redis is doing the heavy lifting: • caching API responses • storing sessions • handling counters and rate limits • managing short-lived state Meanwhile, MongoDB quietly handles the important stuff: • user profiles • transactions • history • data that actually matters This is where a lot of beginners get confused. They try to use Redis as a database. Or they expect MongoDB to act like an in-memory cache. That’s when things start feeling off. Redis without a proper data store feels risky. MongoDB under heavy real-time pressure starts feeling slow. Not because they’re bad,but because they’re being used incorrectly. A simple way to think about it: MongoDB is long-term memory. Redis is short-term memory. You don’t forget who you are every few seconds. But you also don’t remember every tiny thought you’ve ever had. Good systems work the same way. That’s why almost every serious product uses both: • MongoDB for truth • Redis for speed Not because it’s trendy. Because it works. Once you stop asking “Which one should I use?” and start asking “Where does this data belong?” your system design immediately improves. That’s the difference between code that just runs and systems that stay reliable as they grow.

🚨 🛣️ Karnataka Cabinet Approves ₹307-Crore Upgrade of Bengaluru’s ORR Stretch The Karnataka state cabinet has approved a ₹307 crore project to revamp the Outer Ring Road (ORR) stretch between KR Puram and Silk Board junction in Bengaluru. Key points: • The project covers the ORR segment from Silk Board Junction to KR Puram. • It includes continuous brushed-concrete footpaths on both sides that will also serve as cycle lanes. • Some portions of the road will be rebuilt, while most will be resurfaced with a bituminous concrete layer. • The upgrade aims to improve infrastructure and likely ease traffic along this busy corridor in Bengaluru. • Modern bus shelters with information panels • Plans to build skywalk under the metro line under PPP model.

@bengawalk I'd go with one. Two is minimal, but one takes accessibility into account. Uses standard symbols and icons for lift, water and toilets. Two is also missing the signage for no smoking/drinking/littering as well as the word for "platform". Not everyone would understand the 2nd.
