@ChrisGwinnLA @grok I'm surprised we haven't seen a 'Dark Shadows' reprise? Or, 'Nightstalker'.

I’m deep in the grind—Meta AI on one screen, script notes on the other—watching Dangerous Skies evolve frame by frame.
Strange thing is… the more we build, the more it pulls back.

@ChrisGwinnLA Agreed. It is very difficult to know when your prompt pushed against a guardrail. That's a negative, meaning, we cannot render our imagination in its purest form. Then, the magic has its limitations, in effect censoring our vision. All good, up to a point.

@srmorrison1 So hard to tell. VEO is certainly more censored and I have had Giallo and Horror prompts blocked for pretty mild violence - nothing that you couldn't see on late-night TV back in the day. Grok is way less censored, though, so I was surprised that it had difficulty with this.
English

Giallo Girl Friday.
VEO 3.1 couldn't handle this scene at all - kept turning it into a comedy (VEO is terrible at chase scenes!). Getting a bit sick of VEO 3.1, to be honest.
Grok Imagine, as usual, has much better action - but the only problem is that, no matter how I worded the prompt, she kept turning around and running towards the killer, LOL. Either that, or they just both nonchalantly looked at each other.
Finally got one in which she ran away. Not perfect but, after 20+ generations on two platforms, I'm tired of running the clip and posting it as is. 🤣

@ChrisGwinnLA Excellent line leading to your next scene. "I play all sorts of games Max." What's next?

@srmorrison1 Yeah, thunderstorms are the best!

@ChrisGwinnLA Same here, and thunderstorms.

@srmorrison1 Nice! While I don't want mudslides or anything, being an exile from the Northeast, I will never lose my love of the rain.

@ChrisGwinnLA @grok Totally agree. I'm processing as many image-to-video as possible. Imagine 365 days from now.

@ChrisGwinnLA @grok Fifteen seconds changes everything at least for now. Thanks for sharing great news. Truly, I'm stoked this morning, fifteen seconds is more than double-output.

15 second clips are finally coming to @grok Imagine next week and I'm stoked for it! Even at 6 seconds it's already outdoing Google's VEO 3.1 with cinematic content. This clip is text to image to video, all within Imagine. Nails the '70s Italian Horror vibe.

Learning the craft one frame at a time. Aurelia Softline started as an image from an early Grok model, then last night I pushed into Meta’s new AI tools on Facebook—simple steps, foundational moves. @jerrod_lew gave me the nudge, and I ran with it.

@jerrod_lew Thank you for your Meta AI video. Watching it changed everything for me. Wishing you best successes as our new future continues unfolding itself.
