Apparently some find it shocking that you can both support and believe in an elected official, and disagree with them. It’s called principled critique, and we should all get much better at it.

The society we have inherited was imagined and created. We have the ability to imagine and create a more just one. Easier said than done, but a necessity. Imagination can feel risky and not practical, but that’s how things change. With a dream.

Police don’t prevent crime. They show up after it happens. Crime prevention starts with funding social programs and creating opportunity.

Schools should be free of police and full of counselors, nurses, mental health professionals, and social workers.
