ଗତକାଲି ଅର୍ଥାତ ତା - ୦୯.୦୩.୨୦୨୬ ରେ, ଜିଆରପି ଥାନା ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ଏଏସଆଇ ଶିଵ ଶଙ୍କର ଗୌଡ, ଏଏସଆଇ ଶେଖ. ଶେଖାଵତ ଅଲ୍ଲୀ, ହାବିଲଦାର ଅକ୍ଷୟ ପ୍ରଧାନ, କନସ୍ଟେବଲ/୨୪୬ ଏସ ଟୋପନୋ ସ୍ଟେଶନରେ ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିଙ୍ଗ କରୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଦୁଇଜଣ ସନ୍ଧିକ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିଙ୍ଗ ଟୀମ କୁ ଦେଖି ଦୌଡି ବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଥିଲେ । ସେହି ସମୟରେ ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିଙ୍ଗ ଟୀମର ନଜର ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପଡିଲା । ପେଟ୍ରୋଲିଙ୍ଗ ଟୀମ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କାବୁ କରିବାରେ ସଫଳ ହେଲେ । ସେହି ଦୁଇଜଣ ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତ ପ୍ରୟାସ ମହାନ୍ତି ଓରଫ ରାଜା ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟଜଣେ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ବେହେରା ଓରଫ ଡୁଡୁଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରି ଥାନା କୁ ଅଣ।ଗଲା । ସେହି ଦୁଇଜଣଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ସାତ ଗୋଟି ମୋବାଇଲ ଫୋନ ମିଳିଲା ଏବଂ ପଚରାଉଚରା ସମୟରେ ସେ ଏହି ମୋବାଇଲ ଫୋନ ଗୁଡିକ ରେଳ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଚୋରୀ କରିଥିବାର ସ୍ଵୀକାର କଲେ । ଏହି ବାବଦରେ ରେଳବାଇ ଥାନା ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର କେସ ନମ୍ବର – ୪୪/୨୦୨୬ ରୁଜୁ କରାଗଲା । ତଦନ୍ତ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ଵୀକାରୋକ୍ତି ଅନୁଯାଇ ଚୋରୀ କରିବା ପରେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ର ଚିନ୍ତାମନିଶ୍ଵର ସାହି ର ବାନା ମହାପାତ୍ର ଓ ଭଦ୍ରକ ର ବାପୁ ପଣ୍ଡା ଙ୍କୁ ଚୋରୀ ମୋବାଇଲ ଦିଅନ୍ତି , ସେମାନେ ଚୋରୀ ମୋବାଇଲ ଗୁଡିକୁ ବିକ୍ରିକରି ବିକ୍ରି ଟଙ୍କାକୁ ନିଜ ନିଜ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବଣ୍ଟାବଣ୍ଟି କରନ୍ତି । ଏହାପରେ ସେହି ଦୁଇଜଣ ଯଥା ଚିନ୍ତାମନିଶ୍ଵର ସାହି ର ବାନା ମହାପାତ୍ର ଓ ଭଦ୍ରକ ର ବାପୁ ପଣ୍ଡାଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ପଚାରିବାରେ ସେମାନେ ଦୋଷ ସ୍ଵୀକାର କଲେ ଓ ବାନା @ ଭବାନୀ ଶଙ୍କର ମହାପାତ୍ର ନିକଟରୁ 52 ଗୋଟି ମୋବାଇଲ ଓ ମନୋଜ @ ବାବୁ ପଣ୍ଡା ନିକଟରୁ 30 ଗୋଟି ଦାମୀ ମୋବାଇଲ ଜବତ କରାଗଲା । ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ଆଇନଗତ ଔପଚାରିକତା ପାଳନ କରିବା ପରେ ୦୪ ଜଣ ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତ ମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ସମୁଦାୟ ୮୯ ଗୋଟି ମୋବାଇଲ ଫୋନ ଜବତ କଲେ । ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ଅପରାଧ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ଆଇନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଆଜି ତାଙ୍କୁ କୋର୍ଟ ଚାଲାଣ କରାଗଲା ଏବଂ ରେଳବାଇ ଏସପି ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଭବାନୀ ଶଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ଗଟା, OPS, SAG ଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ ମତେ ସେହି ଚୋରା ମୋବାଇଲ ଗୁଡିକୁ ଅନୁଧ୍ୟାନ କରିବାପରେ ତା ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କିଛି ମୋବାଇଲ ଫୋନକୁ ତାର ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ମାଲିକଙ୍କୁ ଫେରସ୍ତ କରାଗଲା ।

On 29.12.2025, SI R. Sankar Rao, OIC Khurda Road GRPS arrested one accused person and recovered 04 no's of branded mobile phones in connection with Khurda Road GRPS Case No. 164, dt.28.12.2025 U/S- 303(2) BNS. The accused was arrested and forwarded to court.

On 09.12.2025 GRP and RPF staff conducted a special drive under the supervision of OIC KhurdaRoad GRPS. During the drive they apprehended two Accd. Persons namely. 1. Karan Kumar (22) s/o Dipak Mandal of Sonbad and 2.Babulal Verma (32), s/o Kartik Mahato of Lathai both of PS.Bengabad, Dist.Giridih, Jharkhand and seized net Ganja 13.800 KGs vide Khuda road GRPS Case No.157 dt.09.12.2025 u/s 20 (b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act. Both accused persons were arrested and forwarded to the Hon'ble court.

On 07.12.2025 GRP and RPF/CIB Khurda Road staff conducted a special drive under the supervision of IIC Berhampur GRPS. During the drive, they successfully intercepted a major illegal transportation of Ganja at Berhampur Railway Station. Two individuals from Murshidabad district of West Bengal were detained after they were found carrying suspiciously heavy bundles of backpacks and plastic cricket bats. On thorough verification total of 17.500 kilograms of Ganja concealed inside 23 backpacks and 10 cricket bats was recovered and seized. Based on the inquiry, GRPS Case No. 153 was registered on 07.12.2025, U/S- 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act, The accused persons were forwarded to the Hon'ble court.

On November 26, 2025, on the eve of Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) all officers and staffs of DPO took pledge under the supervision of Supdt. of Railway Police Cuttack to commemorate the adoption of the constitution by reading the Preamble of Constitution of India. The Office of the Superintendent of Railway Police and all Government Railway Police Stations marked the occasion with officers to contribute to the nation's highlighting and reaffirming our commitment to the ethos and values enshrined in the Constitution.

On October 31, 2025, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) all officers and staffs of DPO took pledge under the supervision of Supdt. of Railway Police Cuttack to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Office of the Superintendent of Railway Police and all Government Railway Police Stations marked the occasion with officers resolving to contribute to the nation's internal security.
