@MarkSsali The playing back and playing square is the players trying to accommodate a defective system in real time. A system whose weaknesses are now well known and is being exploited but which will not change with Amorim as coach at the moment.
English

@MarkSsali Mark. 2 midfielders is criminal, Van Gaal was playing 5 there in his 3-5-2. But even the old master changed his secret sauce. 2 midfielders is too few and 1 striker is too thin if you do not have a martial or Zirkzee to hold up play and dribble. But the young coach cannot learn.
English

@MarkSsali Whatever he is doing (man management, tactics) is not working. And he doesnt want to change a losing strategy. Only the 8 wins. Something has to give. Mourihno is available.
English

@MarkSsali He needed a Van Nestelrooy in his coaching team to better understand the league and where to make improvements. As it is @ManUtd should bring back the pragmatic Mourihno, at least for the rest of the season. Win first, then entertain next. That 3-4-2-1 is not dynamic enough.
English

@albertmuc @ManUtd Amorim clearly doesn't understand English football yet. At this point its a bridge too far for him, all foreign managers always have a few English assistant managers. He should have kept Van Nestelrooy in his team.
English

@albertmuc @ManUtd The teams decline started under Ole. Ole believed in 4-4-2 counter attacking football but had to make room for his assistant Carrick who believed in Van Gaals 3-5-2 possession football.

@JustGystin @GazellesUG Great stuff, thanks for showing this one. Great Psychological trick to make them adapt to the surface cut back on the nerves after two straight slow starts by jogging while singing. Tight game awaits, but either South Sudan and Egypt are known foes from the same Zone.
English

No rest for the wicked!
The @GazellesUG hard at work this evening as they continue to prepare for their quarterfinal game against the winner between Egypt and South Sudan.

@BaryazzIbra @GazellesUG True. The shooting has to be up there. At least 4 players must have a good shooting day out. And then the physicality, defense has to be in overdrive.
English

@ssanyaug @GazellesUG You’re right about that, but the girls need to be at their A game in order to beat Senegal 🇸🇳, shooting has to be at its best like it was today
English

@BaryazzIbra @GazellesUG I think we are ok. Its all about team balance. Experience+talent+ creativity+team cohesion. Our winners from Cairo needed Perus,Namugosi ++ to grease the team wheels.
English

@ssanyaug @GazellesUG I’m disappointed ☹️, we needed such talent against Senegal 🇸🇳
English

@BaryazzIbra @GazellesUG Looks like she didn't make the final 12. Did she travel back home early?
English

@BaryazzIbra @GazellesUG Exactly @JustGystin @PetaTabu after giving us all those Mya Wasswa specials, what happened?

Here is a message to our MPs as they pass laws in parliament. The law is a double crosser. It soon catches up with those that passed it. Here is @nickopiyo on the passing of the UPDF amendment bill.
English

@TimKalyegira We all read when the CDF posted that Besigye would not be released, he wasnt. The supreme court tried to bring sanity, only for parliament to confirm who is indeed boss. We clearly have an emperor, whose wheel is crushing who ever he wills. Looks like there are no brakes. Sadly.
English

@TimKalyegira ..power is a dangerous thing without control. We have a CDF with enormous power over parliament and judiciary (and a court martial to be judge and jury), without self restraint & cannot be reigned in, this spells DOOM and anarchy. The man is making laws and is thus above the law.

I will just leave this here.

This bill still had several areas to amend and improve. Has parliament just passed into a law a tool of political oppression?
