All welcome to our sung Requiem Mass in commemoration of all the faithful departed on Monday 3rd November, 6pm at St John the Evangelist, Iffley Road. We look forward to welcoming our guest preacher, the Revd Ruth Fitter, lead chaplain for the Oxford University Hospitals Trust.

The Senior Staff have gathered for their residential meeting to prepare for the new academic year. Fruitful discussions have been held on formation, liturgy, academic study and community life. Please continue to pray for those entrusted with leadership at SSHO.

The Principal was privileged to be present at St Paul's Winchmore Hill this morning to support Mthr Lyanne Beckerson at her ordination to the sacred priesthood. May God richly bless her in the years ahead.

Today, as well as being Pentecost, is Leavers’ Sunday. Thank you to Bishop Martin for preaching, presiding, and blessing the stoles of the leavers!

Yesterday evening the college celebrated the leaving cohort of students ahead of their departure from college tomorrow on Pentecost Sunday. A fun night was had by all!

The Mass was offered here this morning for Fr @RobinWardSSH, in thanksgiving for his ministry as Principal of @ssh_oxford Our prayers for Fr Robin as he embarks on the next stage of his ministry, and for the College as the process of appointing a new Principal begins.

A lovely display for the Feast of St Joseph yesterday, carefully set up by our college sacristan. Yesterday’s solemnity also happened to coincide with the college’s Incumbents’ Day, where we welcomed all the soon to be Training Incumbents for our leaving students. A blessed day

This past weekend our ordinands had the pleasure of attending the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham for the House Pilgrimage. Many thanks to @ShrineOLW for hosting us!

Ready for the Festivities

The last Mass of term, and so my last public Mass as Principal, will be at 11am on Friday 21 March in St John's Church (entrance from the Iffley Road). After Mass, I hope to share a glass of champagne with those attending to say farewell - all are welcome.
