mypy has existed for about as long as typescript, and python has type hints built into the language. if you use an ide with pylance you cannot write a type error into your code without being warned about it

Python is the worst language to start out as a dev imo.
There's a reason we're taught C/C++ or Java in academia because they're built on the basic paradigms of software.
C/C++ go on lower levels to make you understand how computers interact with your code.
Java for OOPs & its vast usage in big tech.
Python won't teach you any of it.
Its only good for performing math operations.
Go for it if you're a AI/ML guy, but I'll still say to learn one of the other languages.
Else keep it last in your list. (or don't)

None. It's meant for adding many numbers (>2).
Example: 1e20 + 1 + -1e20 = 0 (The 1 got swallowed)
With this: 1 (The expected value)
Think of it as if it is internally using arbitrary precision to do the sum, and rounding the result back to a 64-bit float on the way out.
The reason it's the same value for 2 numbers is actually the fact that IEEE-754 (the standard for floating point numbers) *already dictates* that a sum for two values should behave as if the true mathematical value was computed first and rounded correctly.
So by definition `a+b` and Math.sumPrecise([a, b]) are the same :D
