The game peaked D2 Forsaken The story did start to break a bit with Destiny 2 but fixed over time and concluded with Final Shape. The game was well and alive before Edge of Fate. If you’re crying about then vaulting old stuff idk what to tell you, even if they were still here not a single soul would be playing them other then new players maybe

No they were shit for the story, it's not even debatable. The games population not only failed to grow with new players but bungie actively destroyed their core playerbase that has been there before even day 1 with people like me starting on the d1 xbox 360 beta before d1 even released. The only players that were holding the game together were us OGs who've been invested for a decade and the moment they fucked us and we left the franchise slowly collapsed.

Half of this would shuffle around depending on how much I'm weighing stuff like health of the game at the time, impact on sandboxes, campaign/raid etc but I really just wanted to make that last tier

@Wingmeals terrible list, the majority of expansions were dogshit and final shape completely ruined a decade long story they've been building since d1. If you compared any of these expansions to D1 expansions they'd all be shit besides forsaken and maybe witch queen
