@dua_hub Why do we follow law of a country when the law of Allah set the age of marriage at puberty..

In Islam, a Muslim man is allowed to marry a chaste woman from the People of the Book (such as a Christian or Jewish woman), as Allah says: “…and chaste women from those who were given the Scripture before you…” (Qur’an 5:5). However, this permission comes with conditions—she should be upright in character, and the marriage should not harm the man’s deen or the Islamic upbringing of future children. Scholars also strongly advise wisdom and caution, especially in today’s context, to ensure that faith, values, and family life remain stable and protected. Regarding age, Islam does not permit underage or forced marriages. A valid marriage requires maturity, consent, and legal/physical readiness. The Prophet ﷺ emphasized the importance of consent, saying: “A previously married woman should not be married until she is consulted, and a virgin should not be married until her permission is sought” (Sahih Bukhari). In today’s world, Muslims are also required to follow the laws of the country, which set minimum legal age limits for marriage. Therefore, marrying someone underage or without proper consent is not allowed and goes against both Islamic principles and justice. O Allah, guide us to pure and righteous marriages and bless our families with faith and harmony. Ameen 🤲

I wanted to know whether Islam recognizes marital rape. According to Shariah, what is the ruling on a husband forcing himself on his wife se*ually against her will? Is this considered a sin in Islam, and what guidance does Islam give regarding such behavior within marriage? Q&A

If a husband and wife have lntercourse, but afterward the wife is unable to take ghusl (ritual bath) because of a water shortage or lack of access to water, and then early in the morning her menstrual cycle begins before she could perform ghusl — what should she do in this situation according to Islam? Aid Comes With istighfar Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “…Whoever hopes for something he strives and seeks it, and whoever fears something flees from it. If a person strove and sought aid from Allaah [تعالى] and adhered to seeking forgiveness [Istighfaar] and striving, then Allaah will most surely give him from His excellence that which never even crossed his mind. If a person finds that his heart does not become happy and delighted, nor does it achieve the sweetness of Eemaan, nor the light of guidance then he should repent [Tawbah] a lot and seek forgiveness [Istighfaar] a lot, and he should adhere to striving as much has he can, since indeed Allaah says: ﴿وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ﴾ «As for those who strive hard in Us [Our Cause], We will surely guide them to Our Paths [i.e. Allaah’s Religion – Islamic Monotheism].» [29:69] It is upon him to establish the obligatory duties outwardly and inwardly; and adhere to the straight path seeking aid with Allaah, absolving himself from strength or might expect with Allaah.❞ [Majmoo al Fatawa, (11/390)]

Anas@TheCleanestFit·
One of the greatest trials, the contemplation of which makes my mind nearly reel, is the trial of Ibrahim (عليه السلام). Its the proof of the station of the Prophets and the truth that those most severely tested are the Prophets, then those most like them, then those most like them. 'Allah' الله the Mighty and Majestic willed to test the absolute purity of "Khillah" (the highest degree of love and friendship) in Ibrahim’s heart, ensuring that no love for anything else could ever rival his love for الله. He was tested with the dearest thing he possessed: his son Ismail عليه السلام. Ibrahim had remained for years without a child, and when الله finally granted him Ismail, his heart’s delight and the joy of his soul, الله tested him with the command to sacrifice that son. سبحان الله! What level of submission is this from Ibrahim? What Aqidah from the Father of the Prophets, And what absolute servitude from the Imam of the Muwahiddin! He didn't debate his Lord, he met the command with total, unconditional surrender. And then look at his son, Ismail (عليهما السلام). He too submitted to the command of his Lord, saying: "O my father, do as you are commanded." When they had both submitted and he laid him prostrate on his forehead {فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ} it meant they had both completely surrendered and yielded. Ibrahim carried out the command of الله, and Ismail yielded in obedience to الله and his father. The scholars mention that Ibrahim laid him on his face so that he would have to sacrifice him from the back of the neck, avoiding looking into his son's eyes to make it easier to fulfill the command. Then الله the Mighty and Majestic called out: {وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَن يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ * قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ}. As As-Suddi and others mentioned, Ibrahim passed the knife over the neck but it didn't cut a thing, a barrier of brass intervened, And it was proclaimed: "You have fulfilled the vision." This is how الله removes distress and hardship from those who obey Him, making for them a way out and a relief. Then الله said: {إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاءُ الْمُبِينُ} "Indeed, this was the manifest trial." What an immense test from الله, and what incredible steadfastness, surrender, and servitude from Ibrahim! And what mercy from الله, that He rewarded Ibrahim with a magnificent sacrifice in place of his son, preserving Ismail and making that sacrifice an act of worship for us to draw near to الله until the end of time. سبحان الله العظيم Here we are, tested with the smallest, most insignificant things, yet you see us discontented, retreating, complaining, and despairing. We ask الله to forgive us, to overlook our shortcomings, and to have mercy on our weakness.
