Kindergarten students in 117 are jumping for joy on the 100th day of school because we are 100 days smarter. @MWDPrimary @MalverneUFSD

Today, we concluded our Arctic Animal study with a science experiment called The Polar Bear Plunge. We learned what blubber is and how it keeps animals warm. Everyone had a turn to try the cold water with and without the blubber. 🐻‍❄️🦭🥶 @MWDPrimary @MalverneUFSD

In preparation for Election Day,we studied and tasted goldfish and pretzels before participating in our own class election for best snack. We also read My Teacher for President, and the kindergarten students thought of reasons why I should be President. @MWDPrimary @MalverneUFSD

Halloween may be over, but it is just the beginning of centers for the year. We've been busy learning and comparing attributes of 2D shapes. Today, incorporated into centers, we made shape pizza! #greatnessunleashed @MWDPrimary @MalverneUFSD
