You know what absolutely blows my mind? I’m watching a guy pull Costco clothing out of black garbage bags on WhatNot. He just ran a DKNY puffer with tags. Sold for $47. I don’t know what Costco sold it for, but I can’t imagine it was that price. Maybe it was… but it was nicely presented on a table… in a warehouse. Not in a garbage bag. ANYWAY Remember how I’ve been telling you that anyone can sell anything? I’m not joking. WhatNot. The Wild Wild West of the internet.

I haven't shared much about myself in a while so thought I would real quick! My name is Kip! I am in Northwest Arkansas and just became a parent last year! My son will be one year old next month and man has it been a crazy year. For the past 4 years I have sold on Amazon scaling a resell/wholesale business to $1.7m in 2024. Last year, our Amz account was suspended for 180 days, putting my personal cashflow and capital at risk. I had to make something happen, so I jumped into selling on Whatnot in February (yes, right when my son was born lol bad idea). The rest of 2025 was a whirlwind, grinding late night streams, hiring streamers, making bad inventory purchases, good inventory purchases, paying too much in warehouse rent, moving to a better warehouse, pivoting from kitchen appliances to women's apparel, etc etc. I can genuinely say, I have learned something every single day last year - whether it be about parenthood or running a business. It was really hard, but fast forward to today, we are about to hit 37k followers on WN, with over $350k sold last year. There has been lots of excitement about Whatnot in the reselling community and in the DTC space. And I can confirm, it is really exciting. BUT! it is very hard and takes a lot of effort to grow your channel. Live selling is projected to become a $2trillion industry in the 2030s, and getting in early will pay dividends down the line. Whether it is Whatnot, or another platform - I want to position my business as the go-to liquidation option for brands if they want their product in live selling channels. I joined @ShannonJean $5 Reseller Mastermind last year because he helped me open a Macy's liquidation account by sharing the email of his Macy's contact (really nice of him). It has been a great opportunity to meet a lot of other entrepreneurs making full time or side gig money reselling stuff on various channels.
