More importantly, Eric is married to my dear, sweet, bad*ss friend @staciestern so I know how awesome he is. He’s Stacie’s biggest champion and loves watching her thrive. He’s a wonderful father to 2 equally wonderful kids. And tonight he gets to be the star…by not being a star.

So I’m watching the NJCAA D1 National Championship on ESPNU rn…but I’m particularly focused on the referee. And not for the reasons you might think. You see, Eric Stern (ref) is a friend of mine. He’s worked his tail off reffing countless events (all levels) to get here.

Pretty cool to get to watch my hubs work the NJCCA Championship. He loves officiating and has worked hard to get to this level so quickly. And the game/talent is really good, so bonus for me!
