Richie Saunders is a name to watch for Kentucky’s remaining open roster spot. The 32nd overall pick by the Memphis Grizzlies remains unsigned after being granted an additional year of NCAA eligibility. I’m told Saunders is considering a return to college, and Mark Pope has interest in reuniting with his former star guard.

Devastating. 4,312 Bitcoin addresses wiped as of this post. Here’s 280 of the highest balance addresses so far (in orange) and the exact time and block they were stolen from.

That’s my biggest thing let’s not attack the victims saying they did anything wrong.
When in reality they took step into sovereignty that most will never get too, now they are being told they did something wrong or incorrect.

@ItsDannyBTC Yea I’ve been saying for a while but I need to look more into Casa, maybe get a Multi Sig set up. That’s looking to be possibly the safest way now.

Same here. I had moved from Ledger because I heard all of the doubt on the Ledger side, and I had a bit of anxiety at night. I switched to Cold card to help me sleep better, but this morning I just moved it to an exchange.
Having it on an exchange definitely isnt the ideal longterm

@ItsDannyBTC I’m waiting and seeing myself,I’m not in the business of taking chances so I’m not sure how I would feel using again. I have been using multiple wallets but Cold card had been my favorite as of late.

It’s easy to appreciate an immutable ledger when its consequences are abstract. It’s different when those consequences become your own.

The recent Coldcard vulnerability isn’t a lesson that people were irresponsible. Most were acting on the best information they had at the time. It’s a reminder that sovereignty is an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time decision.
New information requires new decisions. We revisit our assumptions, understand the tradeoffs, and adapt accordingly.
This is one of the central ideas I explore in The Belief Machine. Bitcoin isn’t just a new form of money. It’s an environment that reveals how we respond when the consequences of our decisions are truly our own.

You can’t expect to secure generational wealth outside the system’s control with weak security
Multisig is no longer optional, it’s the ONLY standard if you’re serious about Bitcoin and building generational wealth
You either build the strongest security possible, or you leave your wealth exposed to third parties and Bitcoin IOUs
If you don’t want to become your own bank ignore Bitcoin and stay in the system, that’s also fine for you (not me though)
