Kyle Busch Motorsports is back this weekend. Spire Motorsports acquired the shop and assets of KBM and Rowdy Mnft. in 2023. Busch was retained as a part-time Trucks driver and advisor and was scheduled to race tonight in the No. 7 he took to Victory Lane seven days ago at Dover.

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old. We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

Dystany Spurlock will make her truck debut next week at Watkins Glen and would be the first Black woman to compete in a NASCAR national series race. What she said last month at Rockingham about her being looked at as a trailblazer, her career path and her racing goals.

How difficult in your mind to pull off? Yea, he is tall but aside from that benefit how difficult you think?

@MattWeaverRA Gibbs is very public about his faith but is far from walking the walk. He was called out years ago when delaying the announcement about switching to Toyota to gain an advantage. This is a hypocritical move that’s sad to see from a once well respected coach.

@jeff_gluck I don’t know why people are hating on him. He’s a great guy with a contagious, positive and big personality. He’s exactly what the sport needs!!

I'm genuinely asking because I don't understand: What's the deal with the Cleetus hate? He's running ARCA (exactly where he should be to get experience), he has a ton of real enthusiasm for NASCAR and he's bringing a huge audience to your favorite sport. And all some of you do is take shots at him? Why? I honestly don't get it. Please explain?

The wild part about the Cleetus McFarland deal is that he is right. If RCR is going to sponsor him and NASCAR approves him why should he worry about whether it is right or whatever. That's for others to debate. I think to be honest some media do go a bit bonkers for him vs other drivers in the field as he is still unproven as a racer. But don't forget so many media are web site driven and (along with the sponsor and the series and the team) are looking for social clicks too and he brings a lot of them. Crazy world we live in isn't it?

And then I wanted to know whether Cleetus McFarland is listening to the outside noise on whether he should be allowed to race or not. He is a content creator so it's no surprise he is quite in tune with what people are saying. @NASCARONFOX

The next hearing in JGR request for preliminary injunction against Gabehart/Spire is March 26. Judge has allowed for some expedited discovery between now and then. Temporary restraining order (Gabehart can't perform similar duties at Spire as he did at JGR) extended until then.
