In #Butler's "Bloodchild" I appreciated the contrast in how each family member viewed the Tlic and T'Gatoi especially the argument between Qui and Gan and the debate over cooperation with the Tlic. #Muddybuddies

In #Butler's "Bloodchild" I wonder what caused the humans to originally leave earth and travel to this different planet? #Muddybuddies

In "A Guide for Working Breeds" I found it interesting how #Prasad formatted the entire story, with it almost exclusively being dialogue with almost choppy interruptions of receipts, search history, and videos being sent. #Muddybuddies

In "A Guide for Working Breeds" I appreciated #Prasad's titling of the story as it talked a lot about the working class of the robots, and different breeds of dogs/dogs in general. #Muddybuddies

I also appreciated how Emmanuel chose the same name, Fela St. John, to say at the end since that was who he was dreaming about at the very beginning. #Muddybuddies

In the Finkelstein 5 I found it interesting how #Adjei-Brenyah writes about a scale defining "Blackness" and how having a higher number can lead to negative effects and what this says about our own reality. #Muddybuddies

I found @Anders portrayal of an actually divided America to be interesting especially with how split the US can often seem currently. #Muddybuddies

I wonder how similar technology such as Remen and Lifelogs would be received in our current world and how it would compare to @Chiang's writing? #Muddybuddies

I appreciated @Chiang's inclusion of the difference between vough and mimi to the Tiv people and the differences between being precise and right, which can be an important distinction to make, even for us today. #Muddybuddies

I also found it interesting how @Saunders used tone shifts throughout the short story almost mirroring when the narrator was using Aurabon® vs when he wasn't #Muddybuddies

I appreciated how @Saunders wove in the seemingly random LI11111s, which create a somewhat disjointed feeling as you read and that I only started to understand midway through #Muddybuddies

I found @Jameson's idea that SF helps prepare and insulate us for new technological advances to be an interesting idea, especially with how quickly we have gained new technology in recent years. #Muddybuddies

Was @Jameson attempting to cite consumerism as the reason that history is disappearing in our modern age towards the end of part 1? #Muddybuddies

I wonder what caused @AndrewMarvell's strange fixation on death within "To His Coy Mistress", a poem that appears to deal mostly with making love?

I appreciated @AmandaGorman's repetition of "We will rise" coupled with the descriptions of each respective part of our country within her poem of 'The Hill We Climb'.

I found @JohnDonne's poem "The Flea" to be an interesting albeit very strange attempt at courting this women. #1202NF

I found it interesting how both "The Flea" and "To His Coy Mistress" were very similar poems dealing with a somewhat common theme. #1202NF
