What. A. Book. Can definitely see this being a thriller film in the future. A great read in today's times when women's agency over their bodies is under threat. Classim, racism, and capitalism are explored through the lens of baby creation. 10/10, a must for any home library.

Now about this book. Think of the movie Parasite, but make it about poor women (mostly immigrants and POC) incubating the babies of the rich elite. This book also explores the disturbing truths of rich people outsourcing childcare to the poor class.

Book of the week: Paulina and Fran by Rachel Glaser (one of my mentors). The struggles of being an artist, a rollercoaster relationship between two women, and wonderful interiority of these characters that is unafraid go delve into their toxic traits. The metaphors are 11/10.

I wish my WIP, Heidi's House of Rescued Familiars, was complete. It would've been perf for queer pit 😩. In other news, I'm now looking into indie pubs instead of agents for "Adelina and the Bug Parties" because trying to get an agent for a novella is like punching bricks.
