@kartosiewicz We usually get along very well beyond the usual accent jokes. I find French easy to befriend and quite interesting to discuss with at dinner parties. I think they generally find us easy going. A smart Québec immigration plan would be to have quasi France only immigration.

Bien que les changements de loi d’héritage ont bien baissé la natalité.
C’est juste un fait que le 19eme siècle a vu notre avantage démographique disparaître.

Les républicains français étaient probablement la force militaire la plus puissante de l’histoire toute époque confondu.
En pleine guerre civile, mettre une branler au royaliste puis qui puissance coalisé en 1v10, on s’en rend pas compte.

People also forget that German war reparations were literally used by France to pay back its own debt to the US.

@interbellica Inflation helped but you can't possibly blame the French for how German elites mismanaged their own 1920's economy. Germany left WW1 intact with 60 mln ppl, france 10% territory obliterated with barely 38 mln ppl. No fkin excuses.

Occupy the country as long as war reparations aren’t paid. (Like Prussia did in 1871).

@curtis_yarvin The two things are no where near comparable. The death of a few thousands people due to the excess of the terror era are not comparable to an actual genocide of 6 million people.
Besides, the revolution is not just the terror era. 14th of July does not celebrate the terror era.

@Oriam9123 @ektrit It’s not Parisian based standard French but actually French from the region of yours that imposed itself. Took centuries to do so but the Valois kings living along the Loire river probably has something to do with this.
