Two are dead in a small plane crash in New Market, according to the New Market Volunteer Fire Department. At approximately 1:10 p.m. today, a call to Jefferson County E-911 reported an aircraft crash on Burchell Road in New Market. More updates to come.

The RUSH STRONG Girls’ Basketball Team defeated Rogersville City 38-37 in the TMSAA Region 1-A Championship. The win advances them to the Section 1-A Championship, one win away from the state. The date and time of the Section 1-A game is to be determined.
