@grcgas @BritIndianVoice Bet you can't understand the difference between colonization and immigration. Britain colonized and 'taxed' Indians in their own land and you were trying to draw parallels between those.

@BritIndianVoice Five generations of white British lived in India. They went home as soon as the British rule ended because they are British and understood they were not Indian

British Indians Voice 🇮🇳🇬🇧
My grandfather came to Britain in 1965. He didn’t speak much English. He worked night shifts in a factory in Birmingham. He paid his taxes. Kept his head down. Never complained. His son became a doctor. His granddaughter is a tech engineer. His great-grandchildren were born British. Three generations. Zero crime. Zero benefits fraud. Zero debt to this country. And still, STILL someone tells us to go home. Where exactly is home supposed to be? 🇮🇳🇬🇧 #BritishIndians

Tim Cook took Apple's valuation from $347 billion to $4 trillion during his tenure but if he had just taken that $347 billion and invested it in NVIDIA instead, he would have $139 trillion today this is probably why he stepped down lesson: timing the market > time in the market

@DreadnoughtRN @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ “Scale” isn’t the point. During the Bengal famine, Britain kept moving grain/ships across the empire but didnt redirect enough to Bengal. Thats policy, not logistics And you skipped Indian civilian deaths exceeded military deaths& Churchill’s racist remarks andblocking of relief.

@stanforight @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ Lands End to John O’Groats, the furthest distance between two points in Britain, is 814 miles by road. Different scale. Burma provided 15% of Bengal’s rice. 500k + Burmese fled to bengal. The Japanese sank 100,000 tons of shipping in bengal. The cyclone of ‘42 flooded fields.

@DreadnoughtRN @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ So, Britain couldn’t move supplies inland? They couldn’t do anything when the first million died? The Germans were indiscriminately bombing Britain, yet no one died of hunger. It’s called prioritizing. Indians came last for Churchill evident through his documented racist comments

@DreadnoughtRN @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ 3M died in the Bengal famine vs 1–2M Allied military deaths in the same period. When civilian deaths exceed military losses, its policy failure. Britain prioritized war shipping, exports, denial & delayed relief. Indian lives were expendable for Britain’s civilians & war efforts.

@DreadnoughtRN @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ Japan's role is limited, It was Britain's policies that made it worse. India exported food for your war reducing its reserves. I'll simplify it for you, Britain relied on food imports more than bengal did, but apparently there was no famine there when the war was raging. Why?

@stanforight @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ I think Japan bear responsibility for occupying Burma and sinking ships in the Bay of Bengal. Do you honestly think if Britain said “ok, pause the war, it’s famine relief time” the Japanese would have agreed?

@PennySworth1 @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ Famines r usually caused by bad weather but what makes famines worse is when u restrict the access & distribution of the food available. Is that False? The complex picture is that Europe didn't treat the rest of the world as humans but hey, 100's artifacts saved, so good people.

@stanforight @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ I think you’ll find that Churchill didn’t cause the famines in India directly, I think you’ll find that the weather played its part too. There’s a far more complex picture behind your simple statement. And our ancestors saved 100’s of artifices not just a couple.

@DreadnoughtRN @SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ Do you genuinely believe the number of deaths in bengal famine couldn't have been low if it wasn't for Britain stockpiling for war efforts? Low as in millions wouldn't be dead if they prioritized famine over war.

@SeaDeara @onthatYerb @EchoesofEmpire_ Why do historically illiterate only reiterate parts of their own history that seem positive? The country that caused famines to bolster its war rations saves a couple artifacts whilst ruling for 200+ years & you go on about conscientious white people preserving history. Good job

My world was turned upside down this weekend. As some of you may have seen, I was featured on a recent episode of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s live series, where I was wrongfully portrayed as someone attempting to engage in an inappropriate conduct. This accusation is completely false. Since then, Vitaly has publicly acknowledged, through both written and video statements, that this was a mistake. Additionally, the officers from the Santa Ana Police Department, who I called to the scene, conducted their own assessment and confirmed that I am innocent of any wrongdoing.  I am sincerely grateful to Officers Renald Galstian, Lorenzo Sanchez, and Joanna Hatziefstratiou for their professionalism and for taking the time to carefully evaluate the situation and establish the truth. While I appreciate that the mistake has been acknowledged, the impact of the false accusation has been significant. I have experienced harassment, judgment, and damage to my personal and professional relationships based on something that has now been proven false. I wholeheartedly support efforts to expose real wrongdoing and protect the vulnerable. At the same time, this experience has shown me how important due process and verification are because mistakes, when made publicly, can have serious consequences on innocent lives. Thank you to those who have supported me during this time. Thank you, Akash Singhania

@ManmanJason @DrEiiiid @InterestingSTEM 1. Pain differs by animal 2. Religious slaughter arose from lack of options in primitive ages; better ones exist now 3. If minimal pain is the goal, decapitation's better, but its hard, so they chose an easy path. 4. Any disease people can’t get because they practise halal?

This is how electrical stunning is performed in slaughterhouses. A controlled electric current is applied for a few seconds to cause immediate loss of consciousness before slaughter. The goal is that the animal does not perceive pain during the process.

@ManmanJason @DrEiiiid @InterestingSTEM Throwing around the word ‘vague’ to dismiss my argument is just as effective as religious slaughter or halal - doesnt follow. Religion arose from the methods possible in primitive times not cuz they are the best. We’ve found better ways, yet some still refuse to accept them.

@stanforight @DrEiiiid @InterestingSTEM I can’t argue when someone is vague, but I also have no intention to argue with people on x. Also your argument doesn’t make sense. You can’t argue with strangers on the internet and then conclude from their lack of argumentation that religion isn’t from God. Doesn’t follow.

@ManmanJason @DrEiiiid @InterestingSTEM No disrespect but remember u came in hot to prove ur point & finally resorted to the phrase "agree to disagree" -used when people can't argue their point. It proves that religion isn’t God sent when u can’t make a definitive, compelling argument and fall short in front of science

@DrEiiiid @InterestingSTEM If u ask some AI chatbot, it'll scour entire internet to find what scientists literally observed & learned. It will also tell u - majority disagree with u. So, by definition it isn't the most effective way. It was made up in the times when it seemed better but irrelevant today
