Middlesbrough are demanding that Southampton are kicked out of the Championship play-offs over spying allegations.

@nocontextfm1 Just to add: Kicking them out would be a case of the punishment being way worse than the crime.

@nocontextfm1 I think that would be terrible. Is it petulant, yes. But is it awful, no. Its the equivalent of a professional foul to stop a counter attack so yellow card (small fine)

The general consensus is that the right punishment is for Southampton to be kicked out, right?

@nocontextfm1 Definitely soft, but VAR is there to correct clear and obvious errors..VAR should not have intervened as not a clear error

Sorry what, how are people claiming this isn’t a penalty?

@CallofDuty Only negative is that a lot of people that want to try the game before committing won't be able to, and therefore potentially less players. Although if you haven't bought the game, there is less incentive to give it a fair shot. We have seen that with BO7.

@CallofDuty I think this is a good thing. Cheaper to pay c.£65 for a full game, then pay c.£20 a month for a year

Every time an arsenal player is fouled, or is injured, the other team's supporters sing "same old arsenal, always cheating". Where did this narrative come from? If the referee makes a bad decision they sing it. Let's agree to drop this bizarre narrative.

@Nanik0s Only thing I haven't tried is without any relics equipped. I have tried every time on tier 1

@Nanik0s This hasn't worked me for on 3 seperate games. I have tried just getting 20 (regardless of the round I'm on). I've tried getting the exact amount of kills equal to the round I'm on. I have no damaging perks equipped. I've tried with and without insta kill and pap/rarity upgrades.

@BBCSouthNews I really oppose this. As an occasional visitor it does not massively impact me, but it's not fair on the locals who visit daily for mental wellbeing and dog walking. Not to mention people parking awkwardly outside houses and main roads to avoid the charges. We are taxed enough

Definitely a penalty, but even if you want to argue Pope touched the ball, did the referee make a clear and obvious error? It took 3 minutes to decide the decision was wrong..how is that clear and obvious? Incompetence or Agenda #NEWARS
