@GenePark Would be gimmicky but perspective shifting would be fun if it had you playing in first person as a marine and then the 3rd person spartan gameplay was a power trip like space marine

unfortunately i could not finish my copy of Halo Remake because the PC version keeps crashing on the 2nd to last level. otherwise it's fine. playing it in 3rd person is the highlight for me, but the impact is stunted after Resident Evil 9 just gave us thoughtfully designed first and third person modes and Halo's isn't nearly as good, mostly because the overall game is still designed around first person shooting. i would've preferred a smaller, bolder project that actually centers third person play. the lighting is really good and does give new life to old settings. the ice caves in Assault on Control Room are gorgeous. i think it's weird the aliens speak english. the cutscene transitions are jarring and ugly. but the game itself is fun to run through, until my fatal crashes.

@TheIshikawaRin Funny how they both omitted the MP modes because if it’s not a live-service nobody cares about offering MP anymore

I've been incredibly infuriated by recent game remakes, the Assassin's Creed 4 and Halo CE remakes back to back is just too much. I don't like being super negative but I also don't want to bottle it up.

We’ve literally had people tell us to CANCEL our digital release and do physical only. IDK if people realise that we are just 2 people and this is our first game. We’d LOVE to do physical & we support physical ownership but our game kinda has to do well digitally first 🤷

@froggerupdates The idea that someone would queue DPS and then play tank just sounds crazy. They might have to add primary and secondary role queue

2-2-2 will be alive for the first few seasons but will eventually die out due to the game lacking tank players dps and support queues will become long again and the game will go to a 5v5 format so queues are fast again 1-3-2 just works better because of how popular dps is

Do these companies like SEGA, SQUARE, BANDAI ETC. realize they genuinely make LESS money with no upgrade path😭? WAY MORE ppl would pay for a 10-20$ upgrade as opposed to having to justify rebuying a full game they already have ON THE SAME CONSOLE BASICALLY OWN. CMON MAAAAAAN

My guess is that the "huge list of projects" is now a list of exactly one project for the near future: a Fallout: New Vegas 2 or other major Fallout game. We've probably seen the last of The Outer Worlds 2, and Pillars of Eternity (including Avowed).

@TheActMan_YT Don’t you guys play on Steam? Why is it ok to have been buying digital games on PC for years but now that console is doing the same everyone’s losing their minds? This has been a long time coming and saying/ thinking otherwise is you lying to yourself.

The PS4 won the 8th-gen consoles wars almost entirely because Xbox shot itself in the face and Sony said "we're not doing any of that." Listen to the crowd cheering at the simple idea that they will own the games and the consoles they buy with no caveats. What happened, man...
