@Toepostsandals @NancyStallion @Fenianmoder No comment on the fact he was openly against abortion rights then, and trials for sexual harassment are famously difficult to get a guilty verdict so when multiple women come forward about one man who is already publicly anti women’s rights Im going to believe the victims

Amazing how English people believe in self determination in las Malvinas and exactly nowhere else in the world ever

@SznCarvalho @tthee_JACKAL @Yandilaa @LfcNuel He closes his fist as he goes to punch him, they have literally given a red for that this tournament. It didn’t get given as a red because it was 3 minutes in also when a player appeals for violent conduct at minimum var should check it and they didn’t

@Marc_antw4n Your bench literally rolled a second ball onto the pitch to stop an attack so call it karma

@stanley_dcfc That's because you only see what you want to see and don't pay attention when they are unfair to Argentina. The referee stopped the game in a dangerous attack for Argentina to make the substitutions when the assistant didn't even called up for it. He just helped England.

the whole "rigged for Argentina" online discourse is a great case study on how the general population is frighteningly easy to manipulate with simple propaganda. and how it's especially effective on the less educated, or "casuals"/"larpers"

@SznCarvalho @tthee_JACKAL @Yandilaa @LfcNuel Doesn’t play the ball and he closes his fist while punching his head that’s a straight red for violent conduct as had already been given this tournament against South Africa for a similar incident that was if anything softer

@wanderer1982 better than the ball going behind you which is how he was positioned after the turn and I’m asking a defender to try and head a high ball out for a throw which is what he was originally positioned to attempt because trying to chest down a contested high ball in the box is mental

@wanderer1982 Turning your body away from where the ball is going is not defending 1-0-1

@wanderer1982 In line with the rules of the game body checks are shoulder to shoulder he goes in with his hips after putting an arm on him. At a minimum it should have been double checked by var given they checked Gordon’s goal for offside but that’s on England for not appealing

@stanley_dcfc Its not "my whole point", its literally what happens and in line with the rules of the game.... why do you think the English media are not touching this? And yet pulling up just about every sloppy tackle going during the rest of the game? Maybe because they know its scraping

@hazard_ede7461 @Kurisu__52 The rule is about talking in an aggressive manner and covering your mouth to hide what you say since the ref is there he hears what’s said so he can decide for himself

@wanderer1982 your whole point is he goes to chest it down which is stupid if you’ve seen someone going to head it and at the end of it he’s facing away from the ball so either he’s shit at football or he had no intent on playing the ball. I think it’s a clever foul I still think it’s a foul

@wanderer1982 What point he’d already seen Anderson and made contact with his arm before he pushes in so claiming he didn’t know where he was is blatant lie

@wanderer1982 You can see his arms making contact before he turns into him which is when Anderson’s angles change

@wanderer1982 “Arms barely leave his side” he’d seen Anderson so if he wanted to challenge for the ball you go to jump for it there and put out your arm out to get over Anderson you don’t turn away and push into him

@stanley_dcfc Again, you are clearly watching a different video, as his arms barely leave his sides at any points, and he only "hunch"-es over when he knows Anderson is going to fall on top of him because they were both ball watching and relised they were that close together at the last second

@wanderer1982 If you turn your body to chest a ball you don’t throw your arms back and hunch over also Anderson doesn’t go backwards until after the contact he’s jumping straight

@stanley_dcfc Are we watching the same video? One I am watching the Argentina players NEVER takes his eye off the ball, and turns his body to chest the ball down and boot it out like 99.999% defenders would do and do do every week..... meanwhile Anderson backflops and the two clash

@wanderer1982 He charges him, goes in with his hips not his shoulder and doesn’t attempt to play the ball your examples of Kane doing it are when both players are contesting the ball which isn’t what happens here with Anderson
