Aren’t there a bunch of anime about “religions” that are basically just glorified computer programs?

@thetangles I... have my issues with the Academy so I'm not sure I want to see that 😅
English

@stardf29 That makes sense!
I would love it if we had several really strong awards shows for anime, and if an organization like the Academy for films arose for the medium.
English

@thetangles I think that is hard to do with a creative medium like anime without feeling like an awards show. It's just not really suited to a real-time test of execution format like sporting events are. E-sports would be the closest thing we have right now.
English

@stardf29 I think something big that unites fans on a national or possibly global level, with a competitive quality to it (otherwise I don't think it would attract the attention of so many otaku).

It’s up to Ike and his small band of soldiers-for-hire to restore peace to the seven kingdoms in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, available now on #NintendoSwitch2 for #NintendoSwitchOnline + Expansion Pack members.

Lacking the equipment is one thing, but lacking the skills? There’s only one thing to say to that:
Skill issue.

I mean, I thought this part of the trailer was awesome, but using it as a poster image is definitely a bit weird.

So I did some 6-letter words with the NYT custom Wordles, but they can also be 4-letter words. Are those easier because they're shorter, or harder because of more possibilities and you get less info per guess? Why not try one out:

Not sure how long I'll do these "custom Wordle of the day" for but here's another one to try out, with a word that probably won't be used for an official Wordle:

Going a bit of a different direction for today's custom Wordle:

Today's custom Wordle is brought to you by the recently-announced Mega Baxcalibur:

Apparently you can create your own Wordle puzzles now, so...
This is in honor of the newly revealed Mega Chimecho. Does the word have something to do with that? Perhaps.

@thetangles Wait, you’re not supposed to start at one corner of the triangle and work your way to the other?
English

Controversial take incoming!
As an adult, I realized that preferring the diagonal cut was insane. The triangle makes you eat from the middle first and end with the crust. Rectangles let you do it right—eat the crust first and save the best bites for last.

@GamesAndGod Mario Kart World. Over 300+ amazing remixes of songs across Mario history, and the new songs are amazing too.

I'm going with Chrono Trigger and FFVII.
Which one is yours?

Kinda can't believe this place is still around. I went as a kid, my teens went when they were kids, and their kids will probably go, too.
